Requirements |
Reservations Reservations are required, and we do fill up fast on long weekends, school breaks, and long holiday periods. To ensure that we have available space, please call when your travel plans are made, and if you find that our services are no longer required, we would greatly appreciate it if you would call to let us know, which allows us to accommodate dogs on our waiting list. Vaccinations We require all guests to be vaccinated annually against rabies (it's the law in Alabama) and against bordetella (kennel cough) - please bring a copy of the vaccination record. For bordetella protection, you may wish to increase the frequency to twice a year, depending on how often your dog is boarded - ask your veterinarian, and for more information on bordetella, please click HERE. We also strongly recommend that you vaccinate in accordance with your veterinarian's recommendations. Flea Prevention All guests should be on a flea preventative. For more information on flea prevention, please click HERE. Intact (Un-neutered) Males and Females We will not board any male that is over six months old AND that weighs over 15 pounds if he has not been neutered. We will not board intact females if they are in heat. |
